Il borgo di campi aparthotel is an amazing spot! The hotel is beautiful and well maintained, right outside town. The restaurant offers great food with amazing views. I loved the cozy studio with its own little garden. The staff was very friendly.
the steep stairs might be tough for some, so pack light.

my stay was very nice specially for romantic vacation. i booked cosy studio suite here with flowers, the outside balcony and garden. the personnel was very-very nice and courteous as expected. this hotel was set in a remote area just off bus stop, and the hill through the pedestrian main street. the food from the attached restaurant was affordable.

Had a very nice stay specially for romantic vacation. Truly enjoyed the studio suite with full view I was given. The location couldn't be more magnificent on a mountain.

Despite the beautiful views, I was shocked by the rude staff who treated us like an inconvenience. Not to mention, it took forever to carry my luggage up 200 steps in July's heat! To top it off, i paid a hefty price and received no complimentary gesture at all. I almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

The views are amazing. The apartment suite was rustic and surrounded by a peaceful surrounding.
The location is very inconvenient. It costs about 25E to get there from the train station. Public transportation runs on a very limited schedule with the last shuttle to Riomaggiore at 3:30pm and home at 6:30. If you want to go to Cinque Terre any other time, you have to walk 2 miles on a very dangerous road into town or take the train to the station and take another 25E taxi (not available all the time - we waited for 1 hour to find a taxi). Also, the breakfast was awful and not even worth it for the caffe. Overall, this was a very bad experience and I would suggest staying in another hotel.

The setting on the Italian coast was very scenic and representative of that area of Italy.
This facility is not truly a hotel. It is more aptly to be described as a facility to be stayed at for an extended period of time. The maintenance of the room, (ie. shower and kitchen items) was poor and unless you have the urge to walk for 4-5 miles the public transportation is so minimal that your only option is to look at your immediate view and read a book.

My kids loved exploring the area, and we even took a short boat ride along the coast. The restaurant offered delicious local dishes that we all enjoyed.
My kids wished for more child-friendly activities.

The peace and quiet combined with the stunning views.
The fact that there was no transport to go into RioMaggiore in the evening, as the last bus was at 1830 back to the hotel. It meant that we were unable to sample other restaurants and evening walks. Over a hundred steps down to the room with no means of transporting luggage.

Location excellent. Restaurant food was very good and reasonably priced.
Some lights on the steps down (at the bottom) were not working making it difficult at night.
